AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Universal Mixed Martial Arts offers an
all inclusive Martial Arts Afterschool Program that provides families with reliable structure, academic support, and meaningful enrichment.
Our program runs five days a week and includes a daily pickup from each student’s school.
Once students arrive at the academy, our first priority is homework. Our trained staff members ensure that homework is completed correctly, and they take the time to help students understand what they are learning so they feel confident in their academic progress. We believe that building strong study habits at a young age creates long term success, and we reinforce those habits every afternoon.
After homework is finished, students participate in a forty five minute martial arts class three times per week, giving them the opportunity to train, build confidence, and stay active as part of their Afterschool experience. Once academics and martial arts training are complete, students transition into a variety of activities designed to support both learning and personal development. We offer additional academic reinforcement for any subject a child may be struggling with, whether that involves reading, writing, math, or penmanship. Students also have time to relax, enjoy a snack, and take a short break from their day.
We place a strong emphasis on social development, and our group activities are designed to help students build confidence, interact respectfully with others, and develop healthy friendships. Through structured games and group exercises, students learn teamwork, communication, and camaraderie in a supportive environment. For working parents, the program provides practical flexibility, with pickup available until eight o’clock in the evening from Monday through Friday. We also handle half day school pickups at no additional cost, and on days when school is closed, we open the academy at seven in the morning so parents who need to work can rely on consistent childcare.
Our Afterschool Program is also tax deductible, and we provide the necessary documentation at the end of the year for families who wish to apply eligible credits or deductions. Because of the personalized attention and limited capacity of the program, enrollment fills quickly each year, and we encourage families to reserve their space as soon as possible.
